Weather Conditions, Orchard Age and Nitrogen Fertilization Influences Yield and Quality of ‘Łutówka’ Sour Cherry Fruit

Nitrogen fertilization is a basic agrotechnical orchard treatment, and affects quality size of the crops. The aim this study was to assess impact nitrogen on yield sour cherry fruit ‘Łutówka’ cultivar. course climatic conditions in relation timing flowering fruiting analyzed. trials were carried out three different experimental orchards (quarters) with planting dates (1999, 2001 2002) located at Poznań University Life Sciences Poland. In each orchard, levels used: control without fertilization, dose 60 kg N ha−1 120 ha−1. Increasing did not have significant effect yield. However, it resulted reduction weight, extract content, acidity TSS/TA ratio, whereas brightness (L*) redness (a*) surface color increased. Temperature precipitation had greatest influence flowering, ripening.
